Interventional Cardiologist | Endovascular Medicine
Dr. Behzad Molavi provides comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He believes in providing compassionate, effective and cost efficient cardiac and vascular care through close collaboration with other medical and surgical specialties. His interests include complex coronary interventions, peripheral arterial disease, critical limb ischemia and complex venous disorders including post-phlebitic syndromes and stasis ulcers.
Dr. Molavi received his medical degree from the University of Tehran and completed his residency in Internal Medicine in Michigan State University. He completed his cardiology training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and pursued an academic career in cardiac imaging including cardiac MRI and PET/CT for several years. He then completed another year of interventional cardiology fellowship in Krannert institute of Cardiology at Indiana University.
Dr. Molavi is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine.
